Across the water

Across the Water

A characterful mid-century townscape viewed from across the water, with elegant houses sitting behind a line of mature trees. Painted in a wonderfully muted palette of soft greens, ochres and blue-grey, with loose, expressive brushwork and beautiful reflections on the water. Signed lower right.

Oil on panel, signed and dated 1967, 49x57 cm.
